A fathers love for his daughter and grandson. 

I was contacted by Tiffany a few weeks ago to photograph her baby son and his grandparents as a gift.  These images are of Tiffany's  father with his first grandson at Echo lake Park. This park has lots of shade so Nathaniel's  eyes were open and loved to explore on this beautiful fall day.   His grandfather will be leaving for Jamaica. and will treasure these images for a lifetime.   I hope to photograph this beautiful family as little Nathaniel grows.

It was so nice to spend a few hrs with the Murray family.  They purchased the milestone package so I get to photograph their little girl through out the year.  She has grown so much since she was born and is now six months old and sitting up, babbling, and loving her Big Brother.   Meadow Farm is the perfect location for a growing family.  The large open space plus the animals are fun to watch.   Parker who is Maddie's Big Brother and 2 yrs old was  full of energy but also a great model  he  loved to explore and give his sister hugs and kisses.

 Introducing Jaxon and Jaydon.  Newborns are a gift and when you get twins it's like you hit the lottery.  I helped photograph a set of identical newborn twins.  The boys were just precious.   I loved that the mother had to put a bracelet on one of their legs to tell them apart.    Jaxon and Jaydon were born at 35 wks but did not have to spend any time in the NICU which is a miracle for twins born that early.  They are healthy and handsome little boys.

Look who turned ONE!!  I have known her family for over three years.  I was her Mothers doula for her Big sister and I photographed Evelyn as a newborn.   Today I got to photograph her as she reached her ONE year old milestone.   Evelyn was all smiles and so cute!

I got to meet an adorable 3 month old and his family this week.  His grandparents were leaving and going home back to Florida. These images will be cherished for a lifetime.

Meet Mr. Christopher:)  He wasn't about to  come to his session until about 16 days old because he was born prematurely at 35 wks.  He was a great model and  SO adorable!!   I met his family when i photographed his mothers maternity session.  I hope to photograph him again.

I love everything about portrait photography.  I try and get my children to model for me but being a photographers child is "hard work"  according to my children.  I have had a camera in their "space" since they were born.  Most of the time they say Mom only five clicks..LOL  I usually have to bribe them and these photo shoots only last about 8 min.  One day they will appreciate all the pictures i have of their lives...

Meet baby C.  everyone! He is so adorable.  He was the first boy i have photographed in months.  He was asleep the first half of his session and a dream to pose then the second half he was wide awake and SO content.

I am so grateful that Kim and Chris called me about 2 years ago asking me to photograph their pregnancy with baby, Ari.  I fell in love with theminstantly and have since then added this family to my list of very close friends.  Kim and Chris are great parents  The way they parent Ari, and still manage help run the WAVE church is amazing.   They make parenting look so fun.  And there is never a dull moment with this family. I have been photographing Ari since she was born and during this session they supriesed me with a new baby arriving sometime in March. I can't wait to photograph the birth and watch this family grow. 

It isn’t work shooting families like these. I’m just so lucky to have clients like the Huggins who make my work feel like a mere extension of my breath.

Say hello to Claire, she was 14 days new and just the sweetest  baby.   I loved cuddling this baby girl! She was absolutely gorgeous and so sleepy during her session.

They found a man with a parrot and Ozzy was a hit.  

Madison turned 14 yrs old on the 16th. Times does sure fly.  She wanted to take a few friends out to dinner and walk around Carytown, VA and eat at the trendy Mellow Mushroom.   Madison loved the pizza at  Mellow Mushrooms and the cupcakes at Carytown Cupcakes were delsh!

What a sweet little girl.  She was one month old and a great model.  Miss. Eve wanted her eyes open to check everything out then she took a quick cat nap. Then she thought she would miss something and was up again. :)   She loved to be on her belly, I look forward to working with her beautiful family again.

Mr. Leven has grown quite a bit since his newborn session-  he was such a great baby,  you should have heard his cooing.  I look forward to seeing him again in a few months.

I love summer and waking up early to photograph a great family at Meadow farm.The animals were just starting to rise and the beautiful light coming through the trees made for a perfect backdrop.

Micah turned 2!! this month.   I have photographed him since he was born.  He has grown into a very curious, sweet little boy.   Meadow farm was the perfect location for his session,  there is a lot of room to run and look at all the different animals.
