I love summer and waking up early to photograph a great family at Meadow farm.The animals were just starting to rise and the beautiful light coming through the trees made for a perfect backdrop.
I photographed a sweet couple who is expecting their first child in a few weeks. I can't wait to meet him. We met at the VMFA which was the perfect setting for some indoor and outdoor pictures. I had the opportunity to photograph some beautiful head shots in Carytown, VA the other day. The lighting was perfect. It was hot outside but she rocked it.

I loved cuddling this sweet baby girl! She was absolutely gorgeous and so sleepy for her session on her 14th day of life for her newborn portraits. Jack is her BIG Brother and he loved to give kisses.
Micah turned 2!! this month. I have photographed him since he was born. He has grown into a very curious, sweet little boy. Meadow farm was the perfect location for his session, there is a lot of room to run and look at all the different animals.
Natalie was so sweet! I couldn't believe how easy she was to work with! Usually a one month old doesn't want to sleep so easily, but this little girl only opened her eyes for a few shots then went right back to sleep.
I have been looking forward to meeting sweet Ava. I photographed her mothers maternity session and today i met sweet Ava. She was such an amazing little girl to work with and has the most beautiful family.
I found a sunflower field and photographed three adorable children. The field is off of courthouse rd in Midlothian,VA. The weather was a little drizzly but we made it work. If anyone is interested in a session at the sunflower field contact me.
My sister bought a new house in MD so i traveled to her house warming party. While there i photographed my sister and family. I loved her property. I can see many photo shoots there. :)
While visiting MD for the summer I photographed the Hazel family. This family is special to me because these cuties are my nieces and nephews. I miss hanging out with family and when i get a chance i want to document every chance i get.
While visiting family in MD I had the opportunity to photograph the Westervelt girls. They were so cute to photograph and i just loved hanging out with family and friends.
Today is Fathers Day and I got to spend it photographing a soon to be Dad! April and Jay will welcome their sweet baby in a few weeks. I can't wait to meet her. In the meantime, It makes me so happy that these beautiful parents included their first "babies" in their maternity session!

Jenny found out about me through her friend Shari, I met Shari a year ago when i photographed her maternity session, newborn and a few more family session. It’s such an honor when clients refer me to their friends and family. Little Brooks is 6 months old and was such a cutie.
This family is very special to me because they were among one of my very first doula clients back when I was just starting out. Then a few days ago i received an inquiry about a newborn photo shoot and guess what it was from the Seaborns. They just welcomed their third baby into the world and i got to spend time with the family. It really is a special thing to be able to watch a family grow!
I had so much fun with the Mayhew family at Meadow farm. We had the farm all to ourselves.
I love when family comes to getting to welcome a new baby. The Winebrenners welcomed a son a week ago and asked me to photograph some family coming into town. <3 family.
