I have gathered a few images of my favorite places to photograph. There are so many cool and fun places to go in Richmond, VA. From the farm to the city and everyplace in between. These are just a few locations that I listed.

Echo Lake Park

I love this park in the early morning. The long bridge and beautiful lake make for an amazing backdrop.

Windsor Farms

This line of beautiful trees makes for the perfect spring backdrop.

Gains Mill Battlefield

I love this location, its not crowded and has tall grass as well as many grassy areas to get the perfect images any time of year.

Maymont Park

This park is full of so many options. There is a lot of walking but its so worth it. It can get pretty crowded but timing is everything.

Dogwood Dell Park

This is probably one of my favorite places to photograph in the late afternoon. There are two areas i like best one is a line of trees that shape the backdrop so well and the other is just woods .

Monument Ave

The fall leaves are amazingly beautiful on Monument ave.

Belle Isle

This location has so much to offer, There are bridges, steps, the river and a line of trees. As well as Tredegar iron works with some cool architectures.

Midlothian Mines park

This location has a beautiful stone wall, great wooden bridge over the water and many more. This location can get crowded.

Murals

The mural wall is a great fun backdrop for many occasions.

VMFA

The Spring is so pretty at the VMFA, The architecture and art work make for some beautiful backdrops. The inside of the museum has a great area with lots of windows in case its too cold or hot outside.

Sunflower Field

I love sunflowers fields and every summer i incorporate sunflower minis into the schedule.

Robious Landing Park

This location has a beautiful dock to take pictures on and a nice park like setting.

Libby Hill Park

I love this park any time of year. This park over looks the Richmond City and there are lots of areas to explore.

RF&P park

A tiny little area with some trains. The train tracks are not in use so its safe and kids just love it.

Tuckahoe Plantation

I love to photograph here. The landscape is beautifully manscaped and lots of areas to choose from.

Sunday Park

Sunday Park is so beautiful on the water with trails and a nice landscaped area for amazing portraits.

Bryan Park

This location is just beautiful in the Spring.

Forest Hill Park

I love this park in the Fall or anytime of year. There are so many places to photograph here. There can be a lot of walking.

Woods Tree Farm

I love this farm.. it is about 1hr from short pump but its worth the drive. They have a little tree farm that will be available in a few years. There is also a wild flower field and so much more.

Christmas Tree farm

This is a fellow photographers backyard with a few Christmas trees planted which make for an ideal set up and not crowded.

Red Truck minis

The Red Truck sessions are such a huge success. The Red truck is the perfect props for Christmas cards..

Chimborazo Park

This park is close to Libby hill park and has great views of the city.

Meadow Farm

This is another place I love to photograph. The Evergreen trees are perfect for the winter months and the grounds are well manicured for any time of year.

“A rainbow baby is a baby born shortly after the loss of a previous baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or death in infancy. This term is given to these special rainbow babies because a rainbow typically follows a storm, giving us hope of what’s to come.”

Sweet little H. is 10 days new and the most adorable rainbow baby. Her mom also owns horses so we used a saddle in a few images. Daddy is also retired from the military and we got some great shots as well. Newborn sessions can take place in the comfort of your own home or in my home studio. I can bring all the props and studio lights to you.

These newborn sessions are custom and we discuss the props and outfits you would like to use. I clean and sanitized all props after each session. I wear a mask and gloves during the sessions.
